Amy is an Assistant Vice President at MPI. Amy’s valuation experience spans over 35 years. A Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and Accredited Senior Appraiser (ASA), Amy has a strong background in valuation, investment analysis, and client relationship skills developed through work with high net-worth families, business owners, attorneys, CPAs, and family offices. Amy is a seasoned financial professional with a unique and powerful combination of Wall Street acumen and closely-held business valuation expertise. She has worked on valuation projects that include many industries, with a particular focus on real estate.

Prior to joining MPI, Amy worked at an Oklahoma regional accounting firm in the business valuation practice where she pivoted her focus to closely-held companies. She started her career on Wall Street where she gained expertise as an equity analyst primarily covering real estate investment trusts (“REITs”). During this tenure, she gained a reputation for thorough fundamental analysis, financial modeling, and the ability to identify critical value drivers for public companies in complex and evolving industries. This rigorous public-market background instills a high-level discipline and capital-markets perspective into all of her valuation work.

Amy has performed valuation services for closely-held companies primarily for estate and gift tax purposes. Her private-company valuations are characterized by the same rigor, defensibility, and strategic insight required in the public equity markets. She understands that the unique nature of closely-held businesses requires not only complex financial modeling but also a nuanced understanding of ownership structures, private transaction premiums, and liquidity considerations. She delivers USPAP-compliant reports in clear, defensible, and comprehensive analysis.
