Mr. Soman joined MPI in 2019 and specializes in determining the value of closely-held securities of companies operating in many industries. In support of the foregoing, he prepares documented valuation analyses for presentation to management, directors, and stockholders of client companies, as well as to attorneys, accountants, other fiduciaries, and the Internal Revenue Service. The valuation work and analyses prepared by Mr. Soman have been used for the following purposes:
Financial Research Associates, Inc. (FRA), Manager – Business Valuation & Litigation Support
At FRA, Mr. Soman managed valuation and related forensic accounting assignments for clients in diverse industries, with a focus on high net worth divorce litigation, estate matters and shareholder disputes. In this role, he regularly presented and defended valuation conclusions that withstood scrutiny of attorneys, opposing experts and courts.
Gettry Marcus, CPA P.C. (GM), Associate – Business Valuation & Litigation Services Group
At GM, Mr. Soman provided business valuation, forensic accounting and litigation support services for matters including trusts & estate/gift tax, legal agreements, shareholder/partner disputes, matrimonial dissolutions, commercial litigation, economic damages and fraud investigations.
