Mr. Fine has more than 10 years of experience performing valuations for closely-held, publicly traded and investor-backed companies. Matt has performed hundreds of valuations for various assets include business enterprises, complex instruments, various classes of equity and debt, stock options and warrants, intangible assets, intellectual property, and personal goodwill. Valuations prepared by Mr. Fine have been used for share-based compensation, purchase price allocations, goodwill and long-lived asset impairment testing, mark to market accounting, lending, fairness opinions, solvency opinions, ESOP formations, transfer pricing, recapitalizations, equity buybacks, and gift and estate tax filing.
Prior to joining MPI, Mr. Fine spent 11 years at a New York valuation and consulting firm assisting clients with a variety of business and intangible asset valuations.
